SAFE Drivers with a MINIMUM 2 yrs CDL Class A active experience with air brake and manual transmission.
- Most tractors are 2013 and 2014.
- Need to have TANKER endorsement to be considered.
- People with flatbed history make the best transition to tankers.
WORK:
Grease and non-hazardous wastewater work involves servicing commercial food establishments (restaurants, schools and food processors) with a vacuum tank truck to remove liquids.
Loads must be hauled to specific locations to be unloaded into other vessels or otherwise handled per manifest. Other duties and responsibilities based upon work.
Candidate will maintain a truck log, according to federal regulations, and perform pre-trip and post- trip inspections. Some routes involve occasional out of state work. Communication with a dispatcher via telephone (smartphone) or radio is required. Must have good handwriting, and be able to fill out reports, manifests, work orders and time sheets.
The position requires operation of pumps not just driving equipment.
We are looking for people who can safely drive our trucks to various locations, perform pump operations and process paperwork. Most of your time will be spent on pump operations and processing paperwork.
This is a physical job working in multiple weather conditions such as heat, cold, sun, rain, etc.
If you are used to drop and hook then this would NOT be a good match.
PHYSICAL:
- Must be able to safely lift 75 lbs and occasionally 100 lbs.
- Carrying, pulling, holding and operating hoses and connections.
- Climbing to access equipment, storage and disposal locations.
- Manual Digging maybe required.
A Clean, 3 yr MVR needed.
A TWIC card is an added plus.
Ten (10) year prior employment history with names, addresses, and phone numbers for contact info required.
Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check and Department of Transportation physical.
